Grâce à furzr, vous pouvez trouver facilement des artistes dont le style se rapproche de vos groupes préférés !

Sur Furzr.net, vous entrez un nom de groupe/artiste et vous vous retrouvez avec un graphique affichant sous forme de satellite les groupes/artistes se rapprochant du style de celui de votre recherche.
Les données sont récupérées via last.fm, 7digital et rovi.

Muspy qui permet de vous avertir par mail dès qu'un album est dans les bacs ! Quand je dis album, c'est aussi les singles, EP, live, compilation, remix (paramétrable dans son compte).

Vous avez également à votre disposition un flux RSS par utilisateur et un calendrier iCal à lier à votre agenda (Google Calendar par exemple) !

Créé et maintenu par Alexander Kojevnikov, Muspy est open source (licence GNU AGPL). Son code, en Python (Django), est disponible sur GitHub.

Nuclear est un lecteur audio qui va piocher dans les résultats de YouTube, SoundCloud ou encore BandCamp.

Nuclear a été développé avec Electron et reprend globalement les mêmes fonctionnalités que mps-youtube, la version en ligne de commandes de Youtube, avec une interface proche de celle de Spotify.

Nuclear est donc un logiciel qui permet l'écoute de chansons, récupérées directement auprès de YouTube, SoundCloud et BandCamp. La recherche d'albums est complétée par Last.fm et MusicBrainz.

Volumio is a free and Open Source Linux Distribution, designed and fine-tuned exclusively for music playback. It runs on a variety of devices, typically small and cheap computers like the Raspberry PI, but also on low power PCs, notebooks or thin clients.
By flashing (installing) Volumio on any of this platforms, it will then become an headless Audiophile Music Player. Headless means that the only way to control it will be with another Mobile phone, computer or tablet.

This is made possible by Volumio’s UI: a web applications that runs on any device with a browser, and that allows an easy and intuitive control of your playback sessions. All communications between the webapp and Volumio will happen through your home network.

piCorePlayer is a very system (piCore linux) which is running in RAM, and is not writing to the sd-card. Therefore, it is very robust and will not corrupt your sd-card even so you can simply cut the power without any risk of corruption of the system.

piCorePlayer can be used in three ways:

1. As a Squeezebox player that connect to your existing Logitech Media Server (LMS). (See how-to here-work in progress)

2. As a LMS server (See how-to here - work in progress)

3. A combined LMS server and Squeezebox player.

freedb is a database to look up CD information using the internet. This is done by a client (a freedb aware application) which calculates a (nearly) unique disc ID for a CD in your CD-Rom and then queries the database. As a result, the client displays the artist, CD-title, tracklist and some additional info.
